My impressions about Abhishek Bachchan

Its my first post and I'm pretty much blank. Well, the idea of blogging has earned a lot of acclaim especially because of all the celebrities getting naughty in the bloggers paradise. Notable that comes to my mind is Aamir Khan's Dog Blog...a swipe at friend-foe Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan's battle against the media and 'friends' like Shatrughan Sinha.

What can one write that may be of consumption for unseen, unheard of people. Don't know but yes, for me it is a means of reaching out to a wide section of people and getting their reactions on my writing. It can be about movies (Since that's my profession...no I'm no filmi actor types...I'm a fence sitter commenting on films and film makers and enjoying it to the hilt)...it can be about literature or art (poetry runs in my blood you see...if I tell you about it...you shall gasp...well about that later), current affairs, journalism, sports or maybe just listen in to comments from other people and soak it.

Let me start off by a recent experience of doing a video interview with Abhishek Bachchan. Well, this was my third interview with him in the last six months and AB was as usual jovial, funny and down to earth. He is confident of his next release 'Delhi 6' and didn't mind the tough questions about the similarity in the story idea or the fact that there seem to be some abstract notions in the film. We talked about the unpredictable audience that doesn't support a good film like 'Luck By Chance' and settles in for a half baked horror flick 'Raaz...the mystery...whatever'. He also shared his penchant for AB dance that one gets to see in 'Genda Phool'...music by the way is a big plus point of 'Delhi 6'.

Bachchan Junior also shared thoughts about how no one at one point of time wished to work with him. we also spoke about wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and how he is proving to be a forward thinking husband supporting his successful wife. Incidentally Abhi-Ash are working on several films together. Apart from Mani Ratham's 'Raavan', Excel Film's untitled to be directed by 'Delhi Belly' director Abhinay Deo there's Rajeev Menon's film loosely inspired by 'Abhimaan'. Now parents Jaya and Amit ji made that film a classic. A unique take on the insecurities and fragle ego of a husband who felt he was being outshone by his wife. Hrishikesh Mukherji's direction was timeless. The film is relevant today and forever. Lets see what talented Rajeev Menon makes of it....

I think that's it for my first post....do let me know what you guys think of it. Till later...cheers!
